A solar control film is a self-adhesive film applied to windows to improve energy efficiency by blocking solar heat. They are made of polyester, ceramic particles or alloys, and are easily installed without any work. These films consist of several layers that filter the solar spectrum, protect against scratches, breaks and graffiti, and improve safety by preventing glass fragmentation.

These tips are for an installation whose individual glass has a maximum surface area of 2.50m2. For glass installations with a larger surface area, contact us.
1 Hard layer resistant to common scratches, this layer allows for good durability and makes maintenance easier during cleaning.

Protective coating, remove for installation.
For cleaning, a soap and water solution should be used. Never use any type of chemical or abrasive cleaner. Also, do not use rags, scouring pads or any other utensil that may scratch or damage the protective layer of the film.
To prevent possible oxidation of the film over time, a perimeter seal will be mandatory between 5 and 10 days after installation.
The film should not be cleaned until 1 month after installation. Additional adhesives should not be used for installation.
