Installation of PDLC film in VECTEM's meeting room

In this project, we installed PDLC film over existing glass in the boardroom and director's office of Vectem, a company located in Rubí (Barcelona).

The system is powered electrically from the false ceiling via a hidden transformer and can be operated by switch or remote control.

Technical details of the installation at Vectem

The installation at Vectem's offices consisted of applying the smart film to existing glass in the boardroom and the director's office. This type of installation allowed the company to retain its existing glass, thus optimizing available resources.

The process carried out by our specialized team was as follows:

Glass Preparation: Extensive cleaning and preparation of the existing glass was performed to ensure maximum adhesion of the PDLC film.
PDLC Film Installation: The film was carefully applied over the pre-existing glass surfaces.
Electrical Installation: The electrical connection was discreetly installed above the windows, covering the cables with an elegant aluminum profile, thus ensuring a clean and professional finish.
Transformer Location: The transformer required for the electrical activation of the PDLC film was strategically placed in the false ceiling, invisible to the eye, thus maintaining the aesthetics of the space intact.
System Control: An activation switch was installed next to the light switch for easy access, and a remote control was provided for added convenience.
